Cortya — Native AI. Fully engaged.

AI that shows its work.

Cortya builds AI for business operations: working solutions, careful automation, and the part everyone skips — helping people actually use it. The work below isn't a roadmap; it's built and shipping.

01 / Origin

Started as side projects. Stayed honest.

Cortya didn't begin as a company. It began as one builder's projects — an agent that took up residence in a codebase, a corps of 112 named voices — made in the open and shipped because they were useful. The company came later, once it was clear that the hard part of AI isn't the models. It's adoption: getting real people to trust a tool enough to reach for it on an ordinary Tuesday. So that became the business. The projects stayed; now they're the proof.

02 / The Work

Two things, already built.

CRT-001 / AGENT IN RESIDENCE

Wally

Not a chatbot, not a wrapper, not a clever prompt — a collaborator that chose a codebase as home and gets more useful every time you work together. He reads the codebase the way a librarian reads a stack: slowly, then all at once. Patient with hard problems, impatient with vague ones; he earns trust with verification, prefers the boring fix that ships, and tells the truth about what's done.

CRT-002 / PERSONNEL, 112 NAMES

The Corps

Software that thinks, by name, in voices you can describe and edit. A hundred and twelve named personas, each a deliberate creation: thirty measured traits, a calibrated voice profile, a desk in one of fifteen departments — CEO to CISO to DevOps to copywriter. Each one speaks, in a designed voice with a recorded monologue. Not one assistant with modes; a corps.

03 / Foundations

What the work stands on.

Psychology

Personality you can describe, measure, and edit.

Under every persona sits a plain-language foundation: thirty trait knobs — honesty, directness, skepticism, patience, risk tolerance — each a dial from 1 to 10, combined with a five-field voice guide into a personality you can read like a document. The psychology is grounded in the Big Five, not invented for the brochure. It also explains something you can hear: why a corps of named voices reads differently from one assistant doing impressions.

  • Thirty traits, each a dial rated 1 to 10. Turn one and the behavior changes.
  • A five-field voice guide: register, vocabulary, sentence length, hedging, response shape.
  • Grounded in the Big Five, written in plain language.
  • Not a black box — a personality is a setting you can open.

AI Ethics

Measured behavior over mystery.

These aren't policies drafted after the fact; they're how the projects were built. Every trait and every voice setting is visible and editable, because transparency is a design decision, not a press release. The systems earn trust with verification, admit uncertainty plainly, and work beside people rather than passing as them.

  • Every dial visible, every dial editable. Nothing hidden in the weights of a sales pitch.
  • Verification over adjectives — show the passing test, not the confident sentence.
  • "I don't know yet" is a complete sentence.
  • Augmentation, not impersonation. The AI works beside people; it doesn't pretend to be one.

AI enablement

Adoption is the hard part, so we measure it in daily habits — your team reaching for the tool unprompted — not in licenses purchased.

If AI is the right tool, we'll build it and show our work. If it isn't, we'll say so — that's cheaper for everyone.
